We have tried a computer software-based reward chart, praising, scolding, spanking, time-out, privileges taken away, hovering over her while she does it, rewarding with a special activity afterward, only letting her take out one thing at a time... I think we've tried everything. She will eventually pick up but it is a battle every day. I would like to see her succeed and obey and be proud of herself, but she doesn't seem to care. Even if we hover over her she'll drag her feet and dawdle around doing anything but cleaning up. She complains, "It's hard!" even if there's only a few toys on the floor. Any ideas?
