how do you get a ford ef falcon to self diagnose using its computer?

my ford falcon ef 1996 vibrates every time i accelerate i have changed the coil pack replaced the plugs leads cleaned the injectors and still seems to be as bad when i gather quite a bit of speed it stops thinking it must be senses so i heard you can find iout whats wrong with the car using its computer does any one know how to get it to self diagnose

If your check engine light is not on then you do not need it to self diagnose. But if it is on, try turning the ignition switch to acc and back off 3 times leave on the acc on the 4th turn and it should give you a blinking code on the check engine light that you can call into NAPA and they can tell you what the code means. But it sounds more like a bad universal joint or if front wheel drive a bad CV joint. Especially if it gets better when you let off the gas.
