How do you get photos on your PC from a samsung genio touch?

I have got a USB that fits , but when i plug it in to my PC it says to insert the disc that the phone came with (it didnt come with one). How do I get it working? And I know that their is a way because I used to be able to get it to work but then I had to reset my phone. It came up import videos and photos. So can anybody tell me how to get it working again??
