how do you get picked up by the spaceship in hoggy, the iphone game?

i broke all the glass and got to the moon but i have no idea how to get picked up by the spaceship.. my coworker got picked up as soon as he went through the locked gate.. i've beaten all 50 levels.. i need this last one... please help. muchos gracias
the ship never appeared for me
