How do you make two different headsets work at the same time for two

different controllers on xbox live COD? Me and my brother play zombies live all te time, he uses his name and im the guest, so he's always player 1 im player 2, and at one time we were both able to use our headsets (he has wireless i have a cord one) and we could both talk and hear the person we were playing with. For some reason we cant get that to work again, and we don't know how we did it the last time. Any advice?
