I'm going on vacation with my two six year old girls and we decided were going to disney, but im totally stuck and don't know what to do next, anyone have any advice, like an outline of how to plan this thing?
Research that location by book and websites. There are plenty of Disney sites both professional and amateur.
Talk to friends and family who have done DIsney and ask their opinions and recommendations. You don't have to do what is suggested but it is a good idea to listen to what people have to say.
Decide if you are staying on Disney property or off. If off you will need a rental car.
Check out a travel community like www.virtualtourist.com for specific questions.
I book flights/hotels online. If you've done your research you will know if booking a package is a better deal for you than booking everything separately. Use Expedia and Travelocity to get an idea of what packages cost.
Then I make a packing list- things I need to buy for the trip and the actual what to pack list.
I actually prefer to do lots of research because it helps to lengthen the whole vacation experience for me. The guide books and websites become part of my vacation. Have your girls help you decide what to see and do when you get there, and what to pack to keep them entertained on the journey there.
