how do you preview movies in divx while it's still downloading ?

I can't preveiw movies while they're still downloading because they'll only play in divx and my deafault player is windows media player. I can't set the divx to my default, and I can't preveiw before it's finished because I have to import the file to divx and it doesn't save until it's finished.
oh and i'm downloading from limewire
