I am not very savvy when it comes to hacking portable gadgets, ie PSP's cell phones, ipods and so on, but I am savvy enough with linux to know that one of the things that is great about linux is that you can put it on almost anything with a hard drive bigger than a few megabytes. For example I was able to run Debian Linux on a pc older than a commodore 64 very smoothly. And I ran FreeBSD(I know BSD isn't Linux, but it's close.) on a 386 for a number of year and it ran smoother than any windows PC on the market. My point is I know that with my 8 gb memory stick my phone is better equipped than a commodore or a 386. So I just need something like FreeBSD that can be installed on my phone, and instructions on how to do it. Can anyone help me with that?
