When he loads it on his bat and gloves and then adjusts his helmet, it piles up and gets dirty.   Some players prefer to leave it there instead of cleaning the helmets every game. Personally, I can't stand the look because I think it looks really bush league.  A pro ball player has someone wash and press his uniform every day, clean his shoes and make him look brand new, but he prefers his helmet to look filthy?  I'm not a fan of it.</blockquote>
