Message: <blockquote data-quote="StarSwinger" data-source="post: 2530723" data-attributes="member: 710057"><p>When someone gossips I usually try to give the person being talked about the benefit of the doubt and say something like "maybe she was having a bad day" or I just listen and not say anything.  I won't lie, there are times when I have lapses in judgment and react with a "really?" and then I later regret it because I know from personal experience that the people who are gossiped about turn out to be genuinely nice when you give them a fair chance over time and I find I enjoy their company.</p></blockquote><p></p>
