How do you stop neighbor from stealing our internet?

our neighbors are using our internet with a chip that you can get for like 50 bucks at best-buy. my friend has one and i remember her trying to get onto her neighbors internet and one said "stop f*cking stealing our internet* and she couldnt. how do i do that??

how do i do what you are all saying?
 
Turn off dhcp and set up your own ip address scheme, every computer on static ip adress and then it will make it not worth their time

I would try talking with your internet provider and ask them to help you find a solution or threaten to find a new provider! After all, they have a
technical support (that YOU pay for) and they should know about this technology because after all, it threatens THEIR BUSINESS ALSO!
If they cant help you find a solution, then you might consider disconnecting your internet connection intermintently, causing them to move on or find another venue.
 
I'm assuming you're referring to your neighbors connecting to your wireless network. You will have to secure your network by switching the router into WPA mode, or WEP mode if WPA is unavailable. It will have you enter in a password and to connect you will have to enter in a password after setting that up

What kind of network setup do you have?
