How do you think the current unrest in places like Libya, Bahrain and Yemen will...

...pan out.? Do you think religion will gain a tighter grip on the region or do you think people power will mean more moderate views?

Personally I hope that people power will mean that there will be more understanding between us and that people preaching hate (on both sides) will become more and more marginalised.

I think it'll pan out to become more 'liberal' - whilst staying within the cultural norms of the country itself. Views will probably become more moderate - as the countries are moving towards democracy - and moderate views and governments are needed for democracy to truly work.

I think the people power is a delusion. It's really that the radical muslims will take over that area entirely and completely in an effort to eventually anihilate the Jews and Christians.
It's gonna get really ugly.

Libya, Bahrain and Yemen are single source economies (oil). They will be dictatorships again by whoever gains control of the oil. They will also probably become more religiously conservative - eases control of the population by wrapping themselves in Koran.

I think that the common people will start to realize that the Western Powers (but especially the U.S.A.) have been propping up the dictators for their own benefit. They will hate the Western Powers even more.

another dictatorship will replace the current one. islam and democracy don't mix, they are contradictions of each other, so they will never have democracy, only tyranny.
