How do you use Divx program? 10 points

Do you just download a movie from torrent website and instead of having to extract with Winx just open it in the divx player. I watched Charlie Wilson's War online using the Divx online player and it was dvd quality and excellent but it took a while to load. Anyone use this software?
 
All media players need there own codecs, so does divx palyer.
You should install either VLC Player or Gomplayer
Those 2 playerss are free and can play 99% ol all video file types
audio, dvd, cd

I use Gomplayer, because I find VLC player more complicated than Gomplayer. No other reason
