How do you use my old sidekick 3 bluetooth on my sidekick lx?

I had a sidekick 3 and have a bluetooth and I just got a sidekick lx and I been trying to pair my bluetooth with the LX that I used with my sidekick 3 but it hasn't worked so how do I make it work
