How do you use the voice dial feature on a Motorola Razor?

I have the older Razor [not AT&T] and I can't figure out how to use voice dial. I have programmed multiple entries and saved them to the corresponding contacts, but I don't know how to actually utilize the feature ["call Dad"]. Any help would be appreciated. :]
