How does a girl thats shy talk to a shy guy?

i am a 15 yr old sophmore in high school &&he is a 14 yr old freshman. we lightweight talk in class but when were texting we talk alot. i know alot about him but i want to get to know him better face to face but were both really shy. sometimes, he'll stare at me cause he thinks im not looking but yea. im really starting to like him but idk what to do about it. &&also i need to ask him if hes tryna talk to other girls so how do i ask that? please &&thank youu
