How does Blackberry + Google Maps + Bluetooth GPS receiver compare with a dedicated

GPS unit? For anyone who has tried a Bluetooth USB receiver like Holux with Google Maps or so as well as a low-end Garmin/TomTom/Mio, how does the experience compare? Without GPS receiver, Google Maps pops up balloons for each step of the route. Does that change any with a BT GPS paired? Is it any more readable, and is it usable in a moving car?

Is the Blackberry Maps app any better? Any other software that could be used for navigation in a car?
