how does the rogers my 5 work?

I was curious how exactly the rogers my 5 works, the information on the website is so vague, my main question is whether minutes used while talking to someone on your my 5, does it count towards your total minutes? like if i had a plan of 200 minutes but had the essential of my 5 added on, would the time i talked to people within my, my 5 count towards that total?

just curious cause im tired of getting massive cell phone bills as im trying to lower my cost

The calls placed to the 5 people on your My5 list would not count towards your minutes at all, they would be completely unlimited 24/7 to place or receive calls with these numbers. The My5 option can be added to any regular price plan. If you get the $10/mth My5 plan then you can pick any five local numbers (cellular or landline) or you can get the $15/mth My5 plan which would allow you to pick 5 numbers from anywhere in Canada without any long distance charges.
