How early can I go to the Toyota Center for the rockets game?

It starts at 8:30 and I was thinking of getting there at 5:30. lol are there any benefits in that or should i just leave later?
 
im telling u ur gonna be bored if u sit at there for 3 hours lol. get there about 1 hour early i doubt theres benefits getting there that early u prob wont be alble to get autographs if thats wat ur thinking
