How exactly is coming out as bisexual supposed to be easier then coming out as gay?

I'm bisexual and I don't think it's easier or harder to come out as such.

We live in a world where no matter what you do or say, you're going to find a critic.

Just live your life and be happy.

Biphobic gays always seem to think that they deserve a medal or something for "having the guts" to come out as gay rather than bi (although if you ask me telling people you're 100% gay when you're not is dishonest not brave)

But I'm having a hard time imagining how my life would be easier if I came out a bisexual rather than gay.

I would still be descriminated against as a queer man by homophobic straight people, plus I would get crap from biphobic people in the gay community, on top of that I would be expected to be interested in women (wow this just keeps getting better and bettter)

Can someone explain to me how coming out as bisexual would have been the easy way out?

Its not an easy way out. You still have to tell someone you like the same sex.
