How fast is the internet speed on the blackberry 8130 pearl?

I'm going to be getting one but I don't know if I want unlimited web viewing in my contract so I'm just wondering how fast it is because I want to use it as a modem for my computer if it is fast enough that I can manage with using it for a internet connection for msn ect.
