How is it dangerous to complete a download survey?

How is it dangerous to do a download survey i mean is when downloading something that has password to continue installation like to get password you need to go to this website and that website is a survey to continue pls answer the questions given something like that...i tried to complete a survey once but nothing happen its hard to answer and its very suspicious to have a virus im really wondering does virus exist on surveys....
 
Whats dangerous about it is your giving your details to spammers because thats where it will end up including even your mobile number most viruses are pup/malware there sole purpose is to get your personal details so if you complete a survey your doing the job for them.
 
I think some of them is dangerous....one day im browsing my facebook news feed then a friend of mine post a link towards some unknown video i tried to click it then a survey come's up im still not familiar to those things and im still kinda new to computer and internet bullsh*t...then when i click the link it shows a survey of something to download for my cellphone something like an x ray i know its fake then i close it...but its too late cause clicking the link is a virus already....my facebook is posting the same video as my friend does....i tried to fix it by re-installing my chrome and luckily it worked..i don't know all the harm that survey can do...but i think SOME of them is still kinda safe....and i think you ask this question because of some game or some stuff that you wanted to install and has password to be cracked and a link is needed to go for the password
