"Okay, this isn't safe anymore." Lily looked down at the note, crumpling it up and putting it back into her pocket. "We have to hide this, where no no one will ever find it." "I know. It's bad enough Kai disappeared, and Jared was expelled. What if something worse happens." Cepheus bit his lip, pushing one of his curls out his face. "Like, we get expelled." Maggie's mouth formed in the shape of a small "o." "Alright, you just reached a whole new level insane! You /really/ think being expelled is worse than being kidnapped?" Cepheus nodded, as if he didn't see the dilemma. Maggie's mouth shot open, bickering with the boy as usual. Both of them were so damn stubborn, to think they would have realized there's no use in fighting. Lily opened the common room door, trying to ignore the constant bickering. To her surprise, she found some lost boy unpacking. Maggie and Cepheus simultaneously caught eye of the mysterious boy, and suddenly broke into a sudden period of silence. Eyeing the boy as if he had ten heads. "Hello," Lily raised a confused eyebrow, slowly closing the door of the common room. "Shalom," He replied, as if he were accustomed to the trio's company. The boy was fairly attractive. Dark brown neat hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and looked almost like a little doll. He didn't even look back, he continued to pull out a bunch of shirts and trousers from his bag. Lily and Cepheus exchanged puzzled looks. First one of their roommates is kidnapped, and then this kid just comes out of no where? No, that doesn't seem right. "What are you doing here?" Maggie rudely spit out the question everyone was asking themselves. "Sorry, how rude of me," The boy got off of the couch, brushed of his black vest, then extracted his right hand. "Topher McLaughlin." This boy had quite a voice, he sounded like a five-year-old girl, not to mention his lazy eye turning to the right. It wasn't that noticeable because he was squinting. Maggie chuckled, Topher raised an eyebrow. "Topher? What kind of name is /that/?" "It's the second syllable in Christopher," Topher replied, his voice squealed even higher. "And what's wrong with Chris?" Maggie raised a baffled eyebrow. "Well, what's wrong with Topher?" He replied quickly. Maggie was usually the one with the comeback for everything, but not this time. She stared into the boy's serious blue eyes. Topher got the last word, and he was satisfied. He revealed a thin grin, and a small chuckle then picked up his history book from his backpack. "I'm sorry, but there must be some confusion. You see, our dorm is full." said Lily. "Perhaps there's been a mistake?" "I don't believe so. The dean told me I'd be rooming in dorm 276B." Topher emphasized this by pointing his index finger on his orientation paper. Lily leaned over to examine the paper, Topher was right.
