How many believe that the Shroud of Turran is the burial cloth of Jesus Christ?

I have read so many books on the Shroud and seen a few documentaries about it. I do not need it to be real for my faith.
But it still makes me wonder if it is a real artifact or something an artist faked. What do you think?

It seems to be real to me, just from what I've read and seen of it, historically and scientifically, but I really can't give a definitive answer.

I do.

of the atheists and agnostics that have studied the shroud professionally, 99.9% are now Christian.

i believe it is. If I would find out that it is a fake it wouldn't disturber my faith one bit. It does have the encoded horror of a real Crucifixion. it shows how much Jesus had to bear to save us from our sin.

Hello,

I think it is real, not just because I am a Christian, but because they tested a tiny piece of the fabric and carbon dated it and it shows it definitely was from Jesus's time.....I'm not 100% positive but I would say 95%

It was definitely SOMEONE of importance.

Why do we care? Does that have an impact on Christians' love to God or God's love for us? No. So we should stop making a big deal of something so little.

I believe it could be. Maybe when non destructive ways of testing become available it will show at least the right time period. Just because the edge is dated to the middle ages doesn't date it. It is some kind of X ray image.

Nah, not me. Just another fake relic - like all the other so-called relics of Christendom.

It's the Shroud of Turin. The process by which it was created has been rediscovered. It's a fake. Either you believe, or you don't. There's no proof that there is or isn't a god.
