Some people in USA are making huge amounts of tax free money thanks the illegality and prohibition of Cannabis.
Cannabis clubs, Smoke lounges, and Marijuana dispensaries are making fortunes , as well.
But unlike the black market economy underground, they pay taxes to Uncle Sam.
The average price of one gram of Top quality medical cannabis in L.A is between 13-20 dollars.
In Mexico, Cannabis 7 Hemp were prohibited and forbidden by the US government after the Mexican revolution of 1910.

Like alcohol prohibition, "trying" to make marijuana illegal has failed miserably and completely! Legal or not, people are using it! The only people benefitting, however, are criminals, artificially raising the prices, and making for an unsafe situation as criminals are empowered and becoming wealthier.

Alcohol causes many more deaths per year than marijuana; if anything, alcohol should be illegal.

Legalizing and taxing marijuana would give much-needed revenue to governments who are in dire need of funds, and reduce drug-related criminal activity.
