I know this is a vague question so I'm expecting a vague response. The jeeps within my price range are usually 95-05. They usually have around 50-150 thousand miles on them. I wouldn't mind having 150,000 miles on the jeep but when do they start to have problems? What years were problematic for jeeps (what years should I stay away from?) (What mileage should I stay away from?). How reliable would a say....98 jeep with 150,000 miles be? Alot of questions I know

I appreciate your effort to help me

depends on how well it was maintained
could be junk after one season
take to a mechanic for check up

It depends how it was used. If it was only highway, they will last a long time with good maintenance
If it was used hard off road, it could be wore out very early.

i have a 95 cherokee sport with 227thpusand on it. its been mantained well. only minor problems like water punp. and belt, but i think its gonna last me many years to come
