"Sports Utility Vehicle" doesn't sound too much of a people hauling vehicle.
Do you mean mini-vans?

think about the question, lets see, if you live in a big city that does not have places nearby that you can go to within a reasonable amount of time, and get back home to go to work, then there are likely thousands of good deals on used 4x4 that have hardly been off road. I like buying cars from people who did not go out everyweek end and try flying over tall rocks like superman. The vehicles are in immaculate condition, do not have wierd dents and dings low down on body panels, and all the corners are perfect.
Vehicles that come from farming communities, nearby logging roads and other off road sand dunes or what ever, have a tendency to be a lot more well used. So the area you live in is relative to the condition of the vehicle you are interested in.

silly, suv's aren't meant to go off road. They're meant to put a bunch of people in or they wouldn't have 3 rows of seats.

Jeeps and trucks are meant to go off road
