future? Back in 2011 a man was arrested at the LHC who claimed he was from the future (see source) and he had come back to stop the discovery of the Higgs Boson, the so called, 'God Particle' He claimed the discovery drastically changes life on planet Earth. Obviously, this is a load of nonsense but it has got me wondering, how could the discovery of the Higgs particle potentially change society and technology?
Could you list a few possible applications the Higgs Boson could give us?
