How much does Mexican auto insurance cost?

I live in the U.S. and 'm going to be renting a car in Cancun for about a week on vacation so I am wondering how much an economy car or a van costs...? There is going to be six of us so either 2 economy cars or 1 van/suv.
 
If you drive your own American car to Mexico and purchase mexican car ins. for it, it is very cheap..if you shop around. However, since you will be renting a car in a tourist town...that is totally different. You will have to get the ins. from the car rental company and rates in Cancun are surely higher than in non-touristy parts of Mexico. So, unless you have a website to check out the car rental rates ( including the ins. ) in Cancun...you will have to wait and see...ujnless someone with that experience answers too. Hope they do.
