I am getting a sidekick in the summer of course for my birthday and my mom said it might be cheaper in the summer...so is she right?
 
No she's wrong. The phone itself has not gone down in price if you are not buying it with a plan. If you buy with a plan the price has been pretty much the same. She just doesn't want to buy it for you or doesnt have the money right now. Without a plan the phone is 400 dollars.
