How much vacuum is needed for a 1982 porsche 924 brake booster to work properly?

I just changed the fuel injection system in my 924 into weber carbeurators and the carbs have no vacuum ports. So i was wondering if it would be possible to use the old fuel injector ports as spots to make vacuum using tubing one way valves and a canister into the booster. I'm just worried if the vacuum created there would be too powerful.
