Is there any enjoyment in christian life ? or is it a bible thumping life of self comfort with interpretations and promises of the bible and blaming satan for all our wrongdoings ? .How can we say it is a grace, when only salvation is free and a life of faith needs a lot of practice, patience, hard work and sacrifice. It is difficult for those who are weak.
One of my friend told me that God's answers varies like 'yes', 'no' or 'wait'. It is mere uncertainty (that means there is no assurance for anything) . How can somebody stay with a childhood innocence in this hi-tech age ? Is it true that theists create atheists?

God wants us to be filled with joy so full that it overflows on to everyone around you. You have asked a lot of questions here. I recommend reading "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren

Acts 2:25-28 (Amplified Bible)

25For David says in regard to Him, I saw the Lord constantly before me, for He is at my right hand that I may not be shaken or overthrown or cast down [from my secure and happy state].

26Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted exceedingly; moreover, my flesh also will dwell in hope [will encamp, pitch its tent, and dwell in hope in anticipation of the resurrection].

27For You will not abandon my soul, leaving it helpless in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor let Your Holy One know decay or see destruction [of the body after death].

28You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.

All live is filled with hard work and sacrifice, anyway. Is there enjoyment? Of course, just as there are times of sorrow, tribulation. boredom, and anxiety. Christ didn't promise peace on this side of Heaven. But every life is filled with these moments. That is pretty much the extent of comfort the Bible provides. That and grace.

Living a Christ-like life is hard, and takes constant practice, constant study on the word of God, and yes, some sacrifice and hard work. But because of the gift of grace, we don't have to be perfect. That is the other form of comfort. Mistakes don't matter, only the desire to live according to the scriptures.

Wanting to be engaged in the junk of the fallen world will always bring strife in the heart of the saved believer in Jesus.

Yes, there is great joy in Christianity.

It's obvious you like to stereotype Christians. Unfortunately, you're wrong. Just as unfortunate, many of the stereotypes have been earned.

Nonetheless, Yahoo Answers is no place for someone to be seeking spiritually.

You can enjoy most things that wouldn't mess up your life anyway. Friendship, love (not sex...unless your married), there's plenty of things to enjoy in life. I enjoy my life very much and I am a Christ follower. I have awesome friends and I may not have the best life but I still love it.

With God all things are possible.....accept jesus and live he is our only hope.

God loves you.....God bless

You can enjoy everything except sex, drugs, rock & roll, friendship with non-Christians, interesting books, etc.

If you are looking for personal comfort and warm fuzzy butterfly kisses look somewhere besides Jesus. He was beaten, tortured, and murdered for our sins and laid his life down willingly as an example for us to follow. Living a life in the truth is to be training for our place in eternity. It is filled with ups and downs , many of them can be terrifying. This is Biblical Christianity. If you want to go play hop scotch at some new age emerging evangelical six flags over Jesus then you will find this country club you seek. They are easy to spot. Just look for the huge massive crystal buildings.

life is amazing with Christ :-) Hard to explain unless you have the Spirit in you...something I highly recommend :-)

How do Christian's even feel comfortable with there version of heaven? They just wear ropes and worship god and not even enjoy food, sex and other things in life. Their heaven sucks.

So my point is there is nothing to enjoy from believing in Christ.
