How much would it cost to restore a 1951 Chevrolet truck? Any references?
my dads got the '51 Chevy pickup and we'd like to have it redone for me to drive. It needs a new engine, new left fender (because of huge dent), new glass, exterior paint, completely new interior, all parts removed and cleaned, eventually a new transmission, and we'd also like it to be 12 volt instead of the current 6 volt. the whole truck shows a little rust and will obviously need a lot of body work(most of which i listed above). I'd really appreciate any cost estimates or advice you have, especially places or people to take it to for restoration (we're in texas, so anywhere in the area)
