How old do you have to be to take cigarettes into the UK?

I'm currently on holiday, and I was wondering would I be allowed to bring in cigarettes into the UK as I am 17 years old. If so, how much can I bring in with me? This is considering the country is not a part of EU, and is considerably cheaper than in the UK.

Yes, I know they are bad for you I don't want any lectures right now please.
