I am going to have to bicycle in the rain a lot this winter and I was wondering what I can do to keep my backpack dry. Often I have books or a notebook in it and I need to keep those completely dry. I can't seem to find an easy way to put a plastic bag over it without tearing it, but maybe I am doing it the difficult way.
Does anybody have any good ways to keep a backpack completely dry when biking in the rain?
Any thoughts or brainstormed ideas welcomed. Pacific Northwesterners encouraged to reply.
Edit: I can't spend a lot of money if any.
