How to add gouramis and platies to fish tank?

I've still got a bit of waiting to do, but I would like advice one how to add fish to my tank. I know to only introduce a single species at a time, and really only 1-3 fish for a while. My plan is to have a honey or dwarf gourami and 3 platies in my ten gallon. I am also playing with the idea of a kuhli loach. In which order should I add these and how long should I wait before adding the next group?
 
take the bag they give you from the store, float it in your tank for 15-20 mins. After that, empty the fish into a net, DO NOT put the water from the fish store in your tank, that's an easy to to get diseases in your tank. Then simply add him to your tank.
