I recently began working at a tanning salon. However, I have noticed that some of the girls often complain about their fellow co-workers. While I was training, one girl tried to get me to agree on something. "She should have cleaned this bed better, right?" How can I deflect future questions? I don't want to participate in any gossip because it only causes problems. I want to go to work, give my 110% each day and not have to feel like I'm being pulled towards sides. I want to stay totally professional. What are some polite ways to defer me from needing to agree with coworkers and avoid looking like I agree with them? I don't need the drama, I just want to WORK. Thanks in advance. XOXO

Only change the subject or re direct what was said. Like "oh I would have cleaned it better." learn to complement people more!

Just tell her- i have things i need to get done and keep doing until she gets it!
