I've been with Rogers for a year now, and they've just been getting steadily worse. They sold me a Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 which sucks. It lags terribly. Their network also has terrible service, I'll have 5 bars and then I'll have none. I've replaced by phone 4 times and my sim card twice because Rogers insists that it isn't their network, but it has become clear that it is as my friends have the same issues with different phones.
I'd like to cancel my contract and switch to Bell who I hear good things about. How best should I go about doing this without paying the full $400 cancellation fee? I think I have to transfer my number to Bell first, then what? I shouldn't have to pay $400 as they aren't providing the service quality they said they would.
