How to coach a baseball team?

i am in mid 20s,a lady and never really play any sport- actively.and im a teacher as well.so ths year i was given a responbility to choose a girl baseball team members and coach em.and i dont even knw about the game much.sure,i can google about its.but i wish to knw any personal idea that u guys might wish 2 share with me on how i should deal with ths and bring the team to glory, yeah big word there.lets say how i can not to make ths team a total loser team.advance thanks
