How to completely delete uninstalled apps on BlackBerry Curve 3G?

I just got a blackberry Curve 3G, and I installed a few apps, including the Facebook chat app. Later, I decided that I don't really like the layout or format or sounds that it makes, so I uninstalled it. But now, whenever I'm chatting with someone on Facebook on my computer, my phone also makes a noise saying that I have a new message. How I can completely remove this app from my phone?
