ai am new to the cooking world and want to make Easter eggs tomorrow with my son. Not sure how long to boil on what temp and everything. I have tried but never comes out right. Please help
Start with not very fresh eggs, a week old eggs work best for when you decide to peel them.
Cover the eggs in a saucepan by about three inches with cold water. A teaspoon of vinegar may help the color stay true when you dye them. Turn water on until it just starts to boil, not a bumping around in the pan boil, but just boiling. Take the eggs off the burner, and wait seventeen minutes. Rinse them under cold water.
