How to delete files from Emule?

I found some of my files on Emule, and I want them to be deleted, I did this my deleting it from my incoming/outgoing box, but so many ppl have down loaded it - that it is still available online... what can i do ??

Sorry to hear you're in this situation, but it's a P2P system... your files aren't "on" emule, they're stored in however many copies people have downloaded and kept. There isn't really a way to get rid of those copies.

Recent versions aren't even using centralized servers... there's no one you can contact to get rid of anything. I'm afraid your best bet may be to not call attention to the files and try to live with the leak. If they contain financial information or other sensitive stuff, now is when you call your bank, change your account, get new cards, and whatever else you might do to prepare for an identity theft problem.
