How to disable Internet on Sony ericsson x10 mini pro?

Hi does anyone know how to disable the Internet on the above mobile handset? Vodafone keep saying internet has been used but it hasn't & they are charging for it?

the sony ericsson x10 is a "smart phone" that will always connect to the internet for updates etc. only way of disabling the internet would be by selecting vodafone MMS as the internet profile rather than the normal one. or by deleting the vodafone internet settings, going through the user book should help.
