How to handle spam texts from T mobile?

I got a text this morning that said Notice/ This is a automated message from Service Credit Union. Your ATM card has been deactivated. To reactivate call urgent at : 506 870 8281
i am kind of pissed that i get calls saying i won a vacation or other random crap, what is the best cell phone service that is more secure?

Verizon. I have had my phone for 6 months and haven't gotten any of that
