I found a silverwear set in my neighbors trash can.. (they were moving) and they looked like real silver so I took them up and examined them. I found this one website that said if it has "Wm Roger" and surrounded by a star and eagle then this dentifies a Rogers' piece made between 1825 and 1841... now my question is.. "Does this mean that the silverwear I possess is truly a piece made in that time period.

Also, within the set there is a spoon that has 1881(R)Rogers(R) and Onieda LTD.
what does this mean?

Again, there was ANOTHER different spoon that has WM A Rogers A1Plus and Onieda LTD.
and what does this mean?

Thank whoever can help me.

The silver flatware is a pattern held by rogers that was produced under license by the Oneida manufacturer. Most likely silver plated. Check both rogers and Oneida on the web. Worth keeping for your own collection and use.
