How to introduce a kitten to a rabbit?

I have a one year old house rabbit and will be getting a kitten in a few months. I know that it is possible for cats and rabbits to get along just fine, I've seen it done many times. and I know not to ever leave them together unsupervised. But I need to know what the best way to introduce them would be? When I get my kitten she'll be around 12 weeks old. My rabbit is very friendly and playful, he gets a little startled by other animals sometimes at first, but quickly warms up to them.
the kitten will be a Siberian cat, by the way.

I would strongly advise AGAINST trying to make them friends. Sooner or later the cat will think of the rabbit as prey - even if introduced young. The ones you see - are the exception. Most all cats will chase and eventually kill a rabbit - especially if they are shorthair cats.

Persians and Ragdolls might not bother the rabbit much, but its still not a good idea.
