should i fry and blend or roast and blend? Alone or mixed with other veggies?

I would sautee it. I think that I would do it alone and freeze it in smaller icecubes so that you can mix it with other things. Like squash or something, just in case your baby doesn't like it or can't handle just the bell pepper on its own. Check out www.wholesomebabyfood.com They have a ton of information for home made baby food.

Roast, with other veggies.

But, if your baby is about 6 months or older, you can hand over a slice of raw red pepper just fine.

I'd roast with a starchy vegetable to make a creamy texture. A pureed red pepper will be very watery and probably not taste too good on its own. Maybe mix with roasted potato and puree. Make sure you remove the skin if making for a baby starting solids.
