how to make techno dj music?

hello i would like to be able to create dj music like techno. thing is i have a mixer and a beat station i was wondering if theres any program out there that will let you make your own notes and what not; not just beats and putting 2 songs together because i would like to make my own unique music. if you know what program there is out there please let me know or ask me any questions if you are unclear of what i am saying thank you for your time.
