HELLO! So I am looking to purchase a pair of no-turn bell boots for my horse from professional's choice. I have never purchased boots for this particular horse before. I've tried on a few different pairs of my friend's boots, and his left foreleg/pastern is larger than his right. When I put the boot, sized MEDIUM on the right hoof, it is nearly drawn all the way taut together. When I put the boot (same size MEDIUM) on the left front hoof, there is a gap about an inch wide. I don't know whether to purchase a size large or a size medium in the no turn ballistic overreach bell boots. I don't want to buy a medium and have it be too small for the left foot and not protect him properly, nor do I want to buy a large and have it not fit the right foot and be too loose so that it might turn around backwards (despite the no turn knob feature). Help!!
Also, I am not only using these boots for overreach protection, I am also using them to protect his coronet band when running around the barrels/in bad dirt. So in this case, does anyone have a better suggestion for a different brand that might help me save his coronet bands even better than the ballistic no turn bell boots might?
Thank you!!!
