How to properly use the Tar-21 in MW2?

in MW2 my gun of choice is the tar-21 i'm am trying to improve my means or tactics on using it so id like to know the proper usage of this assault rifle. when i first started using it my friend suggested using it in burst because it is such a strong weapon. i used in in burst of approximately 4 or 5 and it worked eventually i got into the habit of using it like any other automatic weapon is it more effective used in burst
 
It is very powerful, but it has horrible recoil. This means that you would use it in bursts, or even just 1 shot, because most times it will kill someone with one shot with stopping power on. Also you can use the MARS sight on, and this makes it an anti-sniper gun. But it has the fire power of an SMG, so it is great at close range, so it is great for everything; stealthy sniper killing skills, long shots, medium shots, and close full auto moments. Great gun!

this guns 'red dot sight' (mars sight) is better than all the other assault SMG and LMG holographic sights. The gun has bad recoil but is high powered so aim at the chest and fire until they're dead
 
This gun, compared to the other assault rifles, is the best all-around weapon, I'd use Scavenger Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Steady Aim Pro, any attachment is fine really, just find a sight that suits you, and use the gun in burst, you'll be able to kill enemies quickly, never run out of ammo and have good accuracy in close-quarter-combat. See you on the battlefield!
 
the tar with the silencer is rly effective. just use ur judgement. go automatic in close range and burst it at long range. i usually like scavenger or sleight of hand, stopping power or hardline, and ninja. good choice. tar is a rly good gun. or you could bling it. both the mars sight and the holographic sight are both good. once you get used to the mars sight it' extremely accurate.
